When is the annual TOR report covering 2018 due to be published?

Mark Hanna made this Official Information request to New Zealand Police

The request was successful.

From: Mark Hanna

Tēnā koutou,

I am awaiting the publication of the annual TOR report covering 2018. In previous correspondence (reference IR-01-18-16744) I was told in December 2018 that "The annual [TOR] report covering 2018 will likely be published by April 2019". Then, in February, I was told "The annual report covering 2018 will likely be published mid-2019".

In light of considerable delays to OIA responses following the terrorist attacks of March 15, I am unsure whether or not NZ Police's increased workload will similarly have delayed the production of this report.

Could you please let me know the following:

1. When the annual TOR report covering 2018 is currently anticipated to be published.
2. Whether or not any drafts of this report exist.
3. Whether or not the data cleaning necessarily to produce these reports, including identifying and removing duplicate information, has been completed.

Ngā mihi,
Mark Hanna

Tēnā koutou,

Could I please have an update on how this request is progressing? I had hoped that the information I have asked for would be easy to provide relatively quickly, but it's been a little over three weeks now since I sent the request and I haven't received any response yet.

Ngā mihi,
Mark Hanna

Tēnā koutou,

As I'm sure you will be aware, NZ Police was legally obligated to send a response to this request no later than nine working days ago (2019-07-08). I would appreciate it if you could please send through the response as soon as possible, preferably today.

I had anticipated that the questions I have asked in this request would be very simple for NZ Police to answer in a timely manner. It is disappointing that well over a month has passed since NZ Police received my request, yet I have received neither an acknowledgement of my request nor a response to my email on 2019-07-02 asking for a progress update.

Ngā mihi,
Mark Hanna

August has now ended and the 2018 TOR report has not been published. I've sent a follow-up request asking for the new due date and the reason for the delay: https://fyi.org.nz/request/11118-delay-i...
