Resource consents for combustion discharges
From: Alex Harris
Dear Wellington Regional Council,
Rules 6 and 7 of the WRC Regional Air Quality Management Plan control the discharge of contaminants from small (< 2MW) and medium (2 - 5 MW) combustion engines, heating appliances and electrical generating plants. Plants larger than 5MW are covered by Rule 23, and are a discretionary activity requiring a resource consent. I would like to request the following information under the LGOIMA:
* a list of all the resource consents in force for combustion engines, heating appliances and electrical generating plants larger than 5MW. For each consent I would like the date of issue, date of expiry, the fuel source for the combustion, and the power in MW (if known) or maximum combustion rate (e.g. in tonnes per hour).
I would prefer to receive an electronic response. Queries about this request will be automatically forwarded to me by the fyi.org.nz website.
