Hi Simon,

 

Your request, in its current form, is very broad and appears to cover a
significant amount of information, potentially from across a number of
government agencies. At this stage, we have contacted five other agencies
that may hold information of relevance to your request, and some of them
have come back to us indicating that they would require a significant
refinement in order to be able to provide a response.

 

As your request does not at this stage satisfy the requirement to specify
the information requested with due particularity, you are invited to
provide further information to enable a more specific search of records
that may be of interest to you. In practical terms, I note that the
Australian Oceans Policy to which you refer is 21 years old. It is
unlikely that many (if any) agencies will have ready access to information
of that age. On that basis, you may wish to consider (in addition to
making a more specific request) limiting the age of the information you
are looking for.

Hi Simon,
Thank you for your response, which does make things significantly easier.
From the searches I have conducted so far, I don't think that a single document exists, but I cannot be sure as yet. I shall contact the relevant agencies to make sure, and then work towards providing a formal reply.
