Dear Kapiti Coast District Council,
please advise what lands within the Maclean Park area are set aside or part of any treaty settlements.
I will refer you to page 5 of the Kāpiti Island Gateway Centre Feasibility Study Final Report 2013 Iwi section - " a Treaty claim over the strip of road reserve in the Boating Club car park

Good afternoon Mr Webber,
On 1 May 2019 we wrote to you to advise that as required by LGOIMA we were
transferring part of your request to Te Arawhiti (The Office for Mâori
Crown Relations) under section 12(b)(ii) of the Act, as we believed the
information you requested was more closely connected with the functions of
that Office. As advised you will hear directly from Te Arawhiti
concerning your request.
This is just a follow up email to inform you that our staff did check our
systems and records and we don’t have anything to add on the matter.
Hopefully you will be hearing from Te Arawhiti in the coming days. We have
requested that they send us a copy of their response to you for our
records also.

Dear Mailbox - Information Request,
I have not received any information from Te Arawhiti, this is the second request from me and the same reply to which i received no information.
The fact that the settlement lands are discussed in council documents I would expect the infromation to come from KCDC please, if you need to get it from another party then please get the information and send it to me, my application for information is from KCDC nobody else.
I will ask the Ombudsman office to intervene soon, I do not buy into the KCDC not knowing what land is designated as Maori or set aside for treaty settlements on the Kapiti coast, especially when it's been discussed in council.
Yours sincerely,
Karl Webber

Dear McGregor, Lu,
I would like to withdraw my request, thanks for the information sent.
I assume the treaty settlement issue I was asking about was from 2013, even though it is still in the draft plan for a gateway centre, and is no longer relevant therefore my request itself is really irrelevant.
Yours sincerely,
Karl Webber
