Partner of worker visa - Update

Pricilla Punnoose made this Official Information request to Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment

Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment did not have the information requested.

From: Pricilla Punnoose

Dear Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment,

I've been waiting to join my partner in New Zealand. It seems a majority of the dependent visa applications are not processed yet. It's been months since I got married and I'm yet waiting for my VISA to arrive. I was told earlier that in May I will get an update, however the recent update states that I will be assigned a case officer only in June.

My concern is if it takes that much time to assign a case office, how much more time will it take to process the actual application? Could you please let me know if you can expedite?

Yours faithfully,
Pricilla
