Dear Mr. Fraser,

I refer to your email below, in particular your request for "any briefings, reports, advice, transcripts, notes, correspondence, aide memoires or any other documents regarding any proposal to amalgamate the Council with neighbouring Councils."

Could you please confirm date parameters for your request. The reason why I ask is that there was work done in 2010 on this issue, which resulted in the McKinley Douglas report (which is on our website - www.wdc.govt.nz) and also the Trapski Brash report (which is also on our website). Please advise whether it is more recent material that you are seeking or whether the information on our website is sufficient.
