Regulatory Impact Statement on Proposed amendments to the Climate Change Response Act 2002
Alex Harris made this Official Information request to Ministry for the Environment
The request was successful.
From: Alex Harris
Dear Ministry for the Environment,
On April 11 2012, the Ministry published a Regulatory Impact Statement for "ETS Review 2011: Proposed amendments to the Climate Change Response Act 2002 – Part 1". This was a proactive disclosure, and parts of the RIS were withheld. I would therefore like to request the following information under the Official Information Act 1982:
* an _unredacted_ copy of the RIS for "ETS Review 2011: Proposed amendments to the Climate Change Response
Act 2002 – Part 1".
Obviously, s18(d) does not apply, as the publicly available copy is redacted.
If the Ministry wishes to continue to withhold information from the RIS, then I ask that it complies with good OIA practice and identifies the specific withholding grounds for each redaction so that it may be challenged if necessary.
I would prefer to receive an electronic response. Queries about this request will be automatically forwarded to me by the fyi.org.nz website.
Yours faithfully,
Alex Harris
