Hi Alecia
I have just been reviewing your OIA request with regard to information on
complaints received at MidCentral District Health Board over the past 5
years. We will be able to provide numbers over that period and also the
process and timeframes that we follow.
We will however not be able to provide what the nature of each complaint
is or what staff are involved as in many cases we don’t have this and
where we do it would require very significant manual work to collate this.
In addition apart from a snapshot in time of right now on how many
complaints are open and how many are closed, we cannot provide more detail
on status.
Can you let me know if you wish any further clarification otherwise we
will progress with what information we can provide by the due date.
