Good morning Shahil
I have looked into the delay in responding to your request and it appears
that your request was received, but not forwarded on to the appropriate
team for their action. This has now been rectified and it is being
processed. I apologise for the delay and any inconvenience this has caused
you. I have discovered that a number of requests were misplaced in this
way and I have changed the way we receive requests to ensure this does not
happen again. We will have a response to you as soon as possible.
Ngā mihi

Dear New Zealand Police,
By law a response was meant to happen on April 29. However the request was received but had been misplaced. On April 30 NZ police had apologized for the delay and forwarded the request. Thus, from the date of NZ police forwarding the request on April 30 by law a response had to happen on May 28 that had not occurred. Can the NZ police please respond to the request.
Yours faithfully,
Shahil S
