Role responsible for Microsoft Office 365 free licenses

Dave Lane made this Official Information request to Department of Internal Affairs

Response to this request is long overdue. By law Department of Internal Affairs should have responded by now (details and exceptions). The requester can complain to the Ombudsman.

From: Dave Lane

Dear Department of Internal Affairs,

I am trying to work out which role in government made the decision to offer school students (e.g. at my local high school) "free" licenses for Microsoft Office 365. I would also like to know when it was made. Is it a role within DIA? If not, please inform me where this decision was made.

Yours faithfully,

Dave Lane
