Dear Hamish,

I write to acknowledge your information request of 16 December 2018 in respect of the below.

Please be advised that your request has been passed on to the relevant team within Council and you will be informed of the outcome.

The Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 requires that we advise you of our decision on whether the Council will provide the requested information or not “as soon as reasonably practicable”, no later than 20 working days after the day we received your request. We will respond to you no later than 4 February 2019.

Please note, the three weeks between Christmas Day and 15 January 2019 do not count as working days as per the Ombudsman guidelines. More information on this can be found here: http://www.ombudsman.parliament.nz/.

Further to your information request of 16 December 2018, in respect of
Green Green Grass ‘public art interventions’, I am now able to provide
Hamilton City Council’s response.
       
You requested:
I would like to know whether the Green Green Grass ‘public art
interventions’ in Hamilton City parks have received any funding from the
Hamilton City Council. If so, how much?
 
Our response:
Hamilton City Council has made no financial contribution to this project. 
Council’s only input is approval of the proposal, approval of signage and
to ensure mowing staff avoid mowing the circles/art piece.
