information under the Official Information Act 1982:

I would like to request the following information from you: The total
number of patients in New Zealand prescribed thyroid medications, by
medication name e.g. Eltroxin, Synthroid, Cytomol, Goldshield for each of
the following years: 2017, 2018 (i.e. separate figure for each of these
years). If it is not possible to provide the breakdown by medication name
then I would like the total number of patients prescribed medications for
each of these years.

The Ministry's reference number for your request is: H201808153.

As required under the Act we will endeavour to respond to your request no
later than 21 January 2018.

Please note, the three weeks between Christmas Day and 15 January the
following year do not count as working days. This means that any OIA or
LGOIMA request submitted from now may take a bit longer.
