acknowledge your email of 30/08/2018 requesting under the Official
Information Act 1982 (the Act), the following:

 

I need some statistics regarding Parents Category resident visa for my
personal use and the Information I am looking for is:

 

1: Total number of (Sponsored) Parents Residence applications approved and
declined in 5 years (2008-12) before the introduction of tier 1 and tier 2
category in July 2012. I will need this information further sub divided
based on the countries where application was lodged from.

 

2: Total number of (Sponsored) Parents Residence applications approved and
declined from July 2012 to date under the new 2-tier system. I will need
this information further sub divided based on the countries where
application was lodged from.

 

3: If Its possible to provide the reason for denial then I will seek this
information as well please.
