As per your Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act request dated 6 July 2018, the answers to your questions are as follows:

Southland District Council does not operate dedicated public libraries, rather they are library/council offices combined.

We have seven sites, and across them we employ a total of 20 staff (mix of part-time and fulltime) and none are being paid less than $20.55

If you have any concerns in relation to this response then you are able to raise these with the Ombudsman in accordance with Section 27 (3) of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act.
