Shannon Marshall made this Official Information request to Canterbury Regional Council

The request was partially successful.

From: Shannon Marshall

Dear Canterbury Regional Council,

Can you advise whether water rights have been granted for 2 Matipo St, Christchurch, and if so, for what purpose? If not, is there a pending application and for what purpose are the water rights being requested?

Yours faithfully,

Dear Anna Paris,

You state they applied to add bottling use (as well as other rights) to consent CRC181993 but you don't state whether this was granted? Can you confirm if it was granted and whom the applicant was? Sanford have sold this site so I want to know what party now owns these rights?

Was the application to extend water rights beyond the original purpose advertised anywhere?

Yours sincerely,

Shannon Marshall
