Dear Phil Twyford,
with regards to the land at Unitec,
I was a former trustee of he auckland air cadet trust and the mother of an officer in 19 sqdn ATC
I was the treasurer of 19 squadron at the time when the buildings were placed on the unitec land and the lease was drawn up.
the buildings were subject to a 20 year lease with 20 years right of renewal . the property was used by both unitec and the squadrons but the building belonged to the auckland air cadet trust and was developed with funds from 3 and 19 squadrons ATC
By way of OIA could you lease provide copies of all agreements which relate to the land on which the " ventura block" is situated
So that the cadets can be fully informed please also provide copies of all correspondence to and from the auckland air cadet trust and copies of any documents which discus or consider the future of the cadets base on the site and or any obligation to provide compensation and or new facilities for the cadets.
