Dear Carmina
I refer to your two requests of 18 April 2018 under the Official Information Act. As your request entitled "International Places in MBChB", as amended, asks for the same information as your request entitled "International Entry to MBChB", we have treated these as one request.
We have decided to grant your request. However, given the amount of resource required to process your request, we have decided to charge for making the requested information available.
Unfortunately we have been unable to generate an estimate of the maximum charge due to the absence of a key staff member, who is on sick leave. Accordingly it is necessary to extend the time limit for your request until 1 June 2018 under s 15A(1)(b) of the OIA. We will provide you with an estimate of the maximum charge after the staff member returns to work, and ask you to confirm your agreement to the charge, and pay the full amount in advance, before we proceed further with your request.
You have the right under s 28(3) to make a complaint to an Ombudsman about this extension.
Yours sincerely
