Christchurch City Council

Dear Rachael,

Thank you for your email, received on 8 March 2018. You requested the
following information, under the Local Government Official Information and
Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA):

Please provide the numbers of consents granted where a weak concrete or
over sized aggregate 'rubble' perimeter foundation has been repaired with
epoxy.

Council Response

The Council is unable to search its consent files automatically for the
information you have requested. To compile such information without a
comprehensive manual search of consent files. To note the vast majority of
this type work did not require building consent so the Council would not
have a record of it in any case.

Refusal of request

After careful consideration, we are refusing your request, under the
following sections of the LGOIMA:

-          17(f) – the information requested cannot be made available
without substantial collation or research

You have the right to request the Ombudsman to review this decision.
Complaints can be sent by email to [1][email address], by fax
to (04) 471 2254, or by post to The Ombudsman, PO Box 10152, Wellington
6143.

Kind regards,

Sean Rainey
