Advice regarding Mr Thiel's New Zealand citizenship

Dr Robert Shaw made this Official Information request to Department of Internal Affairs

The request was successful.

From: Dr Robert Shaw

Dear Department of Internal Affairs,

I see Minister Nathan Guy says that he supported the advice of officials to give citizenship to Peter Thiel. Please provide a copy of all written advice that pertains.
Please indicate the level of support Peter Thiel gives to Austraila and any other country you considered for a comparison with his commitment and input to New Zealand?
Did you collect statements Mr Thiel made in other countries about New Zealand? If so, please provide the list.
Thank you.
Yours faithfully,
Dr Robert Shaw

Thank you for the clear answers. They are very revealing.
I noticed this arrived at 7 pm on a Saturday - does this mean someone works late? I remember what it was like when I was a public servant. Either way, your efforts are appreciated.
