Decision to publish Crimes of Torture Act reports

I would like to request the release of the following information under the Official Information Act, regarding the 9 Crimes of Torture Act reports released as described in this media release from the 1st of June 2017: http://www.corrections.govt.nz/news/medi...

1. All communications regarding the decision to release these reports.

I intend this to include discussions of which reports should be released, which should not, and (where possible) what information should be withheld from the reports.

2. The names of all people and organisations who were sent a copy of the media release, or any other notification of these reports having been published.

2a. If other notifications of these reports having been published were sent, please provide copies of these communications.

3. Any communications regarding who should or should not receive a copy of the media release or a notification of the reports having been published.

1. In respect of part 1 of your request, it is odd that there were no communications, particularly given an "assessment" was prepared (which they want to withhold in full). I would of thought there might be some email communications at least.

2. They clearly have not included verbal conversations within the meaning of "communications" in your request.
