Waiau Pa Reserve Old Hockey Pavillion Dilapidated Asbestos Building Health and Safety Risk

Kim Matheson made this Official Information request to Auckland Council

The request was successful.

From: Kim Matheson

Dear Auckland Council,

RE: Waiau Pa Hockey Pavillion - Waiau Pa Reserve

Your staff undertook tests and a builders report due to dilapidated state of this old club house situated on the communities reserve and were going to get back to us.

Please provide the result of the asbestos testing conducted as well as a copy of the builders report.

Any club intending to take over the lease of the building would require this and apparently this is your preferred option. Likewise due to the health risk to the community the public should know.

Yours faithfully,
Kim Matheson
