Sir/Madam i am interested to know the following numbers?
1: The total number of sworn Officers in NZ?
2: The Total number of sworn officers in the Auckland Council area?
3: The total number of sworn officers assigned to Traffic Duties between 0600 & 0100 hrs in that area?
4: The total number of sworn officers assigned to General Duties between 0600 & 0100 hrs in that area?
5: The total number of sworn officers assigned & designated Detective between 0600 & 0100 hrs in that area?
6: How will the 1000 new recruits be distributed throughout NZ & does this represent crimes reported or population?
7: How great is the problem of recruiting sworn officers for rural areas & what initiatives are you taking to solve this problem?

A tad ridiculous to say that Police have no idea how many staff are working during those hours. Do they not roster staff? I'm also fairly certain that if specific information does not exist they have to provide the next most closest available information.
