Dear Whanganui District Health Board,
Could you please provide the total number of hospital beds from 2006 to 2016 at Whanganui District Health Board. Yearly count will be great. Please note that the bed volume is the count of physical bed capacity ( i.e. bed spaces). The count includes beds, roller beds, lazy-boys etc. The data does not include patient occupancy volumes.

Thank you for your email, in which you requested information under the
Official Information Act 1982, about PGY1 and PGY2 unable to find
positions.

 

Please find the responses to your questions below.

1.       Total number of medical graduates that were not able to find a
PGY1 position in the 2016 intake.

This question was transferred to DHB Shared Services for a national
response

2.       Total number of designated PGY1 positions, following a withdrawal
or decline of ACE matched candidates PGY2 or higher candidates were
appointed.

All PGY1 ACE matched candidates have accepted positions at Hauora
Tairâwhiti
