Any help you may be able to offer re some Aircraft wreckage handed into local Police {Nelson?} from the Hackett Stream in the 1970,s would be much appreciated. I,m researching the disappearance of NZ 964 which disappeared 18th August 1942.

Assuming this flight was Air NZ or its predecessor, it would be best to
