Ross Francis made this Official Information request to Children's Commissioner
Response to this request is long overdue. By law Children's Commissioner should have responded by now (details and exceptions). The requester can complain to the Ombudsman.
From: Ross Francis
Dear Children's Commissioner,
I would like to request information relating to the Ministerial Inquiry that was established into the Peter Ellis case in 2000.
Please send me all communication that the Chidren's Commissioner had during the inquiry with Thomas Eichelbaum, the two sets of complainant parents who represented themselves, and the Justice Ministry.
Who were the international experts nominated by the Children's Commissioner?
Yours faithfully,
Ross Francis

Dear Carina,
Thanks for your reply.
There seems to be information missing from the information you have supplied me. I imagine that Sir Thomas Eichelbaum communicated with your Office throughout the ministerial inquiry. However, you have not provided me with any communication from Sir Thomas to your office. That might be an oversight on your part.
Please search your records and provide me with the information requested.
Yours sincerely,
Ross Francis
