The MBIE Fire Programme Update: March 2016 located at:

states the following:

"We have developed a plan to improve fire safety in New Zealand, and for this to occur in collaboration with the sector."

Please provide a copy of the above-mentioned plan.

Please provide the report/plan which shows the current rates, or other relevant data, of fire fatalities in New Zealand in non-domestic buildings, which have been a result of fire safety deficiencies from performance based, verification method, or acceptable solution designs.

Please note that the days from 26 December 2015 to 15 January 2017 (inclusive) are defined as non- working days in the Act and are not counted in the calculation for the response due date. This will affect the time period for responding to your request.
