Request for Official Information about the Defence Communications Group
The request was successful.
From: Alex Hill
Dear New Zealand Defence Force,
It is expected that the New Zealand Defence Force presents nothing less than a professional, determined and proud image of themselves to the country, and the world. It is understood that the NZDF has a group, or office, dedicated to the public affairs and communication. I am unsure whether it is still named the Defence Communications Group (DCG) or Defence Public Affairs (DPA), either way this OIA request concerns the group that manages the public image of the NZDF.
A. With reference to NZDF Web Identity:
i. What software, programming languages, and hardware is used to maintain and/or create the website(s) of the NZDF and it's sub-agencies;
ii. What kind of audit process is there for information or changes that are made to the web pages of the NZDF?
iii. What kind of audit process is there for information or changes that are made to the Defence Force's various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Flickr)?
iv. Further, what audit process is the for updates on the service chief's personal twitter account(s)? For example, the CAF's twitter handle is '@CAF_NZ'.
v. What style guides are there for the NZDF's personal image? This could be web identity, or other forms of identity guides. If applicable, I would like a copy of all style guides promulgated within the NZDF
It is also to note, that with regard to A. i. it is preferred to list all software used internally, down to web design software (Adobe suite), and programming languages.
I trust that you will respond to my request in a prompt and timely manner. However, if an extension is necessary, please notify me as soon as possible.
With regards to section 12 of the Official Information Act, I am a New Zealand resident and I am currently residing in New Zealand.
