1. We request all documentation and recommendations that have been received from
the IWC on saving or protecting dolphins?

2. We request all information on what has been done about these recommendations?

3. We request all information on all dolphin mortality?

4. We request a copy of all observer reports that contain information of dolphin
catch or bycatch, alive or dead?

5. We request a copy of all video footage that contains information of dolphin catch
or bycatch, alive or dead?

6. We request a copy of all information on dolphin deaths during the PSH Tiaki net
trials?

7. We request a copy of all recommendations or advice that the Ministry has given
to the government on saving and protecting dolphins?

8. We request all documents and statements that detail the Ministry and Government’s
position on the IWC recommendations to make a larger a protection area and to
extend this area out further than the current restricted areas?

requested the following information under the Official Information Act
1982 (OIA): 

 

1.            We request all documentation and recommendations that have
been received from the IWC on saving or protecting dolphins?

2.            We request all information on what has been done about these
recommendations?

3.            We request all information on all dolphin mortality?

4.            We request a copy of all observer reports that contain
information of dolphin catch or bycatch, alive or dead?

5.            We request a copy of all video footage that contains
information of dolphin catch  or bycatch, alive or dead?

6.            We request a copy of all information on dolphin deaths
during the PSH Tiaki net trials?

7.            We request a copy of all recommendations or advice that the
Ministry has given to the government on saving and protecting dolphins?

8.            We request all documents and statements that detail the
Ministry and Government’s  position on the IWC recommendations to make a

I am of the opinion that the information to which your request relates is
more closely connected with the functions of the Minister of Conservation,
than this Office.

 

Accordingly, pursuant to section 14 of the Act, I have transferred your
request to the Minister of Conservation, for action.
