Bond money paid to tenants

Vanessa Cole made this Official Information request to Tāmaki Redevelopment Company Limited

Tāmaki Redevelopment Company Limited did not have the information requested.

From: Vanessa Cole

Dear Tāmaki Redevelopment Company Limited,

I am making a request for information regarding bond money paid out to tenants in Tāmaki and not directly transferred from Housing New Zealand to Tāmaki Housing Association.

I am aware of families in the Tāmaki area who recieved a letter that they will recieve their bond money back from Housing New Zealand, and families that have recieved the money without it being directly transferred to Tāmaki Housing.

I am requesting information on how many families were given back their bond money directly?

Yours faithfully,
Vanessa Cole

Hi Vanessa,

Good talking to you just now about your Official Information Act request received on 2 June 2016.

You requested the following:
• Information regarding bond money paid out to tenants in Tāmaki and not directly transferred from Housing New Zealand to Tāmaki Housing Association;
• How many families were given back their bond money directly.

As discussed, we do not have this information because the process for refunding bonds is managed by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment.

You may want to contact MBIE for this information.

Regarding the other questions you have, please send them to me or from next week on to Tiumalu Peter Fa’afiu, GM of Corporate Affairs. His email is: [email address]

You’re also most welcome to visit our office and have a chat about any issues with Neil Porteous, GM Tāmaki Housing.

Many thanks,

Henry
