Dear Minister for Primary Industries,

Could you also please confirm whether or not the chief technical officer approved the release by the market gardener in Jerrico road, in accordance with sections 52 and 53 of the bio-security act.

Hi Gary,

I see you marked this "not held", but there was no substantive response from Nathan Guy. Did his office contact you outside of FYI.org.nz?

If so, are you are you able to share why they did so and if you know how they got hold of your contact details? (FYI.org.nz does not share your email address with authorities.)

They only checked for chemical storage, they did not and do not have a method for checking if a dead infected rabbit carcass was used.
As this virus is reportable under World Health Organisation rules, this is a pretty bad show.
