Sexual activity and sexual safety amongst New Zealand prisoners

Dear Department of Corrections,

I am concerned with the measures taken in New Zealand prisons toward ensuring the sexual health of incarcerated people. My questions are as follows:

Are condoms ('prophylactics') available on prisoner request in all New Zealand prisons?

Are condoms available for all prisoners, regardless of the security of the unit or facility they are placed in?

If condoms are not available at all times, how often are they made available to prisoners?

If condoms are made available to prisoners, are they free of cost?

What are the specific prison regulations around consensual sexual intercourse between inmates in prisons?
