Dear Chris Penk,
I am seeking the following under the Official Information Act.
1) Please provide any correspondence between your office as Minister of Defence and Minister for Space and the Tāwhaki National Aerospace Center regarding whether or not the center's facilities could be used in the research, development and utilization of military equipment including but not limited to conventional weapons and space-based systems.
2) Please provide any relevant documents, papers and correspondence between your office and other government agencies regarding whether or not the Tāwhaki National Aerospace Center's facilities could be used in the research, development and utilization of military equipment including but not limited to conventional weapons and space-based systems.
Please note that "your office" in this case should include the office of Judith Collins when she was Minister of Defence and Minister for Space from 2023 to 2026. If you are unable to obtain that information please foward this request to the relevant address.
