Dear WorkSafe New Zealand,

On Friday 13 February 2026 WorkSafe sent out a "Stakeholder Consultation Draft" for review. Feedback was due 27 February 2026.

Please provide:
1. All of the feedback received by WorkSafe.

2. All analysis, including within emails, of the feedback provided.

3. All consideration of the proposed, but non-compliant, PEN conductor switching included within the draft guidance. If a legal opinion was sought, this should be provided (note such advice is not covered by privilege).

4. A copy of all drafts/updates of the draft guidance including its current status.

5. Advise whether the fact that WorkSafe's draft guidance included a non-compliant solution (PEN conductor switching - prohibited by AS/NZS 3000:2018 7.3.8(a)) led to any consideration of competence levels and/or the need for training within the Energy Safety group?
