Dear New Zealand Defence Force,

 

Please provide the following information for the conventional forces (i.e.
excluding activities of special forces) for the NZ Army covering the
period 12 months prior to the date of this request (or any recent 12 month
period).  Specifically only provide information for training completed by
the NZ Army domestically in New Zealand.

 

Summary of offensive drone training, including:

 

1. The total number of bombs, grenades, or other munitions dropped from
drones or uncrewed aerial systems.

 

2. The total number of kamikaze drones, loitering munitions or
self-destructive unmanned aerial vehicles equipped with integrated
explosives consumed (i.e. destroyed explosively on a target)

 

Summary of defensive drone training, including:

 

3. The number of simulated enemy drones or uncrewed aerial systems that
were intentionally neutralised, destroyed, shot down, or otherwise
defeated.
