CMC made this Official Information request to Ministry of Education

Currently waiting for a response from Ministry of Education, they must respond promptly and normally no later than (details and exceptions).

From: CMC

Dear Ministry of Education,

Tēnā koe

I write further to the Ministry's response of 4 June 2026 to OIA request GEMS-47587. I request the following information under the Official Information Act 1982:

1. Please provide the full text of the "agreed design principles and Ministry design criteria" against which consultation feedback is assessed when determining whether it warrants a change to the curriculum documents (as referenced in the response to question 5).

2. Please confirm whether the final curriculum documents will be published before or after the independent reviewer's report is made publicly available.

3. Please provide the name or organisational identity of the independent reviewer.

These are narrow, specific questions that should not require significant collation. I would not expect them to meet the threshold for an extension under section 15A.

Please treat this as a new OIA request. I am happy to receive a response by email.

Nāku noa

Yours faithfully,

CMC
