Dear University of Auckland,

I noted,

"The University of Auckland and Sichuan University — two leading
universities in New Zealand and China — have signed a Memorandum of
Understanding (MoU) during CACIE - China Annual Conference & Expo for
International Education 2025 in China, where New Zealand was the Country
of Honour.

The partnership proposes the establishment of a Joint Institute in
Engineering that will enable Sichuan University students to progress into
the University of Auckland's Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) programme,
with pathways to postgraduate study.

This collaboration will also promote joint degree development, faculty and
research partnerships, student mobility, and high-impact research
initiatives, strengthening academic links between New Zealand and China.

Together, we aim to foster innovation, global learning, and stronger
academic connections between New Zealand and China, building a meaningful
and sustainable partnership that supports long-term collaboration and
impact."

I would like to request the full copy of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
mentioned.
