Dear Department of Internal Affairs,

I am writing to request information regarding citizenship ceremonies in Timaru.

Could you please provide the following details:

The planned dates and months for citizenship ceremonies scheduled to take place in Timaru during 2026.

The current number of individuals who have been approved for citizenship but have not yet been assigned to a citizenship ceremony in Timaru.

The oldest citizenship approval date for applicants in Timaru who are still awaiting assignment to a citizenship ceremony.

Thank you for contacting the Department of Internal Affairs.  You have
contacted us during the annual legislative closedown period of public
