Please advise how much NPDC paid to the IRD in Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) on vehicles (for all vehicles - owned, leased, or rented) for each of the last 3 completed financial years; show actual amounts per financial year, together with the budgeted values per year.

Hi Glenn,
Thank you for your request regarding Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) paid by the
New Plymouth District Council to Inland Revenue on vehicles.
Please find below the FBT information for the last three completed
financial years. This has been provided based on both the NPDC financial
year (July-June) and FBT year (April-March) for clarity.
As the value of FBT is relatively low, it is not specifically budgeted
for.

Dear Matthew Thomson,
Thankyou for providing the FBT on vehicles data, this is appreciated. In the "scheme of things" the amounts are not really material, which is pleasing to see. I understand too that this item is not specifically budgeted for. I'm accustomed to having budget provision for all expense items, large and small, including taxes. Maybe budget for FBT could be considered in the future at NPDC.
