We are contacting you to refine your request. As it is currently worded,
your request is likely to require searching through a considerable amount
of information, and section 18(f) of the Official Information Act is
likely to apply.

 

So that this office can feasibly respond, would you be willing to refine
the scope of your request to cover the information you have requested for:

 

o Signal group chats involving Ministerial Services-employed staff in
the office of the Hon Simeon Brown and portfolio private secretaries
employed in the Office of Hon Simeon Brown;
o for a specified 20 day period;
o limited to group chats that have a formal group name, rather than
chats that only list the names of participants.

 

We believe this refinement may meet the intent of your request, and
initial searches of our information systems have identified at least five
