Fale Andrew Lesā- Stuff investigation reveals flawed CV- review panel

john luke made this Official Information request to Ministry of Health

The request was successful.

From: john luke

Dear Ministry of Health,

As per the recent OIA reply,

reference number from Health NZ- Your request for official information, reference: HNZ00096833.

Within the OIA reply it said "Please note, Fale Andrew Lesā may have been part of the review panel convened by the Ministry of Health (the Ministry) in 2018; however, this would need to be confirmed by the Ministry"

To clarify this matter further, I would appreciate responses to the following questions:

Can you confirm whether Fale Andrew Lesā was a member of the 2018 review panel?

What was the name and purpose of the review panel he was potentially involved in?

What was the process for selecting panel members?

Were panel positions publicly advertised or open for public nomination?

How many individuals applied or were nominated for the panel?

How many were interviewed before final selections were made?

What remuneration or compensation was provided to panel members?

Yours faithfully,

john luke
