Total Costs Paid by Police

Dear New Zealand Police,

This is an updated request which is to include additional costs that the Police have incurred since the last release of information that was provided by the Crown.

Please provide the total cost the NZ Police has paid
to the Crown Law Office for all legal
proceedings in the Van Essen and Patterson v AG and Ors.

Please provide the total cost that the Police has made to the Legal Aid Commissioner for Van Essen's and Paterson's legal costs as was directed to by the Court of Appeal.

Please advise from where did the total monies paid for all the proceedings, and the Van Essen and Paterson costs award come from, i.e. Dunedin Police budget, Southern District Police budget, National Police budget etc.

I respectfully request that acknowledgement of this request has been received.
