We refer to your email below, dated 26 August 2025, in which you requested information on accountable and non-accountable delay costs to airlines.

Christchurch Airport publishes its aeronautical charges to airlines every five years. The prices that airlines pay for the period from 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2027 are publicly available on our website at: https://www.christchurchairport.co.nz/gl....

No charges are payable by an airline for delays from a scheduled time of departure to the actual time of departure. The only exception might be when an airline parks an aircraft on our controlled apron area for greater than 6 hours, in which case the published charges will apply.
