Contraband cell phones
B. White made this Official Information request to Department of Corrections
This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for B. White to read a recent response and update the status.
From: B. White
Hi there,
I am interested if there is any link between the National Emergency Alerts and the discovery of contraband cell phones.
Can you please provide information held (happy for this to be at an aggregate level) on the number of contraband cell phones discovered, by day over the year to 31 July 2025. I will then use this to compare to the dates which emergency alerts were pushed by the National Emergency Management Agency.
Thanks
B. White
