Defintion of "Show" when used by presenters to describe there programme
Brian Warburton made this Official Information request to Radio New Zealand Limited
This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Brian Warburton to read recent responses and update the status.
From: Brian Warburton
Dear Radio New Zealand Limited,
Several RNZ radio presenters use the word "Show" as a description of their programme.
Here I refer specifically to:
Jim Mora - Sunday Morning
Wallace Chapman - The Panel
Jesse Mulligan - Afternoons
On first principles it's difficult to comprehend how an audio only radio programme is able to 'show' anything, and it therefore should not be described as such.
To this end, please provide me with the following information:
- "for each of the programmes listed above, the defintion of the word "show" used by the presenter to describe their particular programme"
I look forward to the information I've requested.
Yours faithfully,
Brian Warburton
