I am touching base regarding your OIA request as below - we are able to
provide all of the appendices as requested however, after discussion with
the business unit, I am advised the part for all documents relating to New
Zealand Response Teams (NZRT) requires substantial collation and research
and would more than likely be refused under section 18(f) of the Act, as
there are thousands and thousands of documents in scope across 22 NZRT
teams. 

 

I would like to invite you to refine this part of your request, and the
only way we have identified as possibly working, would be for you to pick
a NZRT specific team. (A region would also be a s18f refusal).

 

Please let me know whether refining your request as above would be
suitable to meet your needs. In the interests of processing your request
without undue delay, I would appreciate your response as soon as possible.
I will proceed with your request as it is currently framed if I do not
hear from you by 5pm 7 August 2025.
