Kia ora Sharyn Leonard,
I filed an OIA with the Privacy Commissioners office on 15 September which, by law, the Commission should normally have responded promptly and not later than October 09, 2015. Please advise why this response has been delayed and when I might get an answer.
Yours sincerely,
Valerie Morse

Dear Sharyn Leonard,
Thank you for your response to my OIA request. I am, however, extremely vexed by your response since it does not include documents between the Privacy Commissioner and the GCSB that post-date the Director's speech, despite the fact that the GCSB has released documents to me showing communications with your office.
I would like a full response to my original OIA that includes all correspondence between your office and the GCSB regarding this event, including information about the rescheduling of the event.
Yours sincerely,
Valerie Morse

Good afternoon Valerie
We acknowledge your email of 12 October 2015.
Our response included material up to the date of your request. It appears
that the GCSB also included material from later dates.
We have provided you with all the information you originally requested.
Your 12 October email now appears to request additional information not
covered by your earlier request, namely "... all correspondence between
your office and the GCSB regarding this event, including information about
the rescheduling of the event."
We will collate any additional information that we hold and will be in
touch.
Regards
Sharyn

Dear Sharyn Leonard,
Thank you for your email.
My request was filed on the 13th of September. Your response did not include any material from the 11th of September although there clearly was some in the scope of the original request.
I would greatly appreciate it if the original request could be responded to fully and properly, and further, information about the rescheduling of the event provided. I acknowledge that any material about the second part of this request post-13 September represents an additional request.
Thank you.
Yours sincerely,
Valerie Morse

Things to do with this request
- Add an annotation (to help the requester or others)
- Download a zip file of all correspondence
Oliver Lineham (FYI.org.nz volunteer) left an annotation ()
The real due date is today (12th Oct), rather than Fri 9th Oct because the request was originally sent after business hours on 13th September. Dates are calculated from the day requests are received by an agency which unfortunately isn't something we can easily calculate on our site.
I recommend using the OIA calculator in the left-hand column on the Ombudsman site: http://www.ombudsman.parliament.nz/
