Good afternoon D. Greenhalgh
The Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) requires that a decision on your
request be provided no later than 20 working days after the day your
request was received. Unfortunately, it will not be possible to meet that
time limit and this email is to notify you of an extension of the time to
make a decision, to 15 July 2025.
A decision on one aspect of your request can be communicated to you today.
NZJSP 600: Rocker Assist has been cancelled and is no longer used. This
part of your request is declined in accordance with section 18(e) of the
OIA because a copy no longer exists, or despite reasonable efforts to
locate it, cannot be found
Unfortunately this extension is necessary because consultations required
to make a decision on your request, including with other government
agencies, are such that a proper response cannot reasonably be made within
the original time limit.
You retain the right, under section 28(3) of the OIA, to ask an Ombudsman
to review the decision to extend your request.
