 The Ministry of Health has decided to extend the period of time available
to respond to your request under section 15A of the Official Information
Act 1982 (the Act) as 
the request necessitates a search through a large quantity of information
and meeting the original time limit would unreasonably interfere with the operations of
the Ministry.

 

You can now expect a response to your request on, or before,  13 June
2025. 

  

You have the right, under section 28 of the Act, to ask the Ombudsman to
review my decision to extend the time available to respond to your
request.

A second proactive release is being prepared for remaining briefings and
documents also at the above link. We will contact you once this is
released.

 

For the remainder of your request, it is still being processed and
unfortunately a response will not meet the statutory due date. The
Ministry accepts there has been a failure to meet the timeliness
requirements imposed by the Act on this occasion. We apologise for the
inconvenience and any frustration caused to you as a result and we are
