The information requested for final grade distribution and the number of
students who completed the above courses in 2024 is publicly available at
 [1]Grade Distribution for All Papers In 2023 and 2024 - a Official
Information Act request to University of Auckland - FYI except for courses
with low numbers of students. Your request is refused under s 18(d) in
respect of the publicly available information and under 9(2)(a) in respect
of courses with low numbers of students, to protect their privacy.

With regard to the parts of your request seeking information related to
mean and median numerical marks ((2) and (3) above), the University does
 not hold final mark statistics.
Grades, not marks, are the University's final measure of academic
 assessment.

Marks are used for initial calculation of grades (see
 [2]https://cdn.auckland.ac.nz/assets/auckla...)
but grades may be subsequently changed for various reasons, such as
 aegrotat/compassionate consideration or academic misconduct.

This constitutes a refusal of this part of your request under section
 18(g) of the OIA.

You have the right to make a complaint to an Ombudsman if you are
 dissatisfied with this response.

Yours sincerely,
