Dear Andrew,
I refer to your Official Information request dated 12 April for requesting
out of scope information from your previous OIA request (Ref:
PSME-OI-25-010).
You requested all information that was deemed out of scope in the initial
response.
In the response letter to PSME-OI-25-010 you were informed that there were
30 items in scope, which were released either in full or in part as part
of your previous request, there were no items withheld in full that could
be considered to be within the parameters of this request.
The material redacted in PSME-OI-25-010 is summarised as follows:
o Names of officials, staff or correspondents + emails and phone numbers
– withheld under 9(2)(a)
o Appendix A: UPDATED_ Zero Waste speech - already in weekend bag -
withheld due to being outside of the parameters of the request – this
speech traversed a variety of environmental topics, the parts withheld
are not related to waste-to-energy.
o Appendix A: Some queries on waste to energy that the Minister’s office
has previously received – these were withheld as they originate from
prior to December 12, 2024.
o Appendix B: - Waste to energy incinerator- “you can roll a turd in
glitter but it’s still a turd” -part of this email was withheld as it
was after the date you made the request.
o Appendix B: Cabinet Office schedule of appointments – some information
was withheld as it is not related to waste-to-energy
o In the response letter there was also a reference to news alerts, as
they relate to publicly available media this would be refused under
18(d) - that the information requested is publicly available.
I would invite you to clarify what material from the above that was deemed
out of scope, that you are requesting, factoring in there is no additional
material outside of the date range and subject matter of PSME-OI-25-010.
Please note, any clarification or amendment of a request is considered to
